In-Vested
17 November 2009
An unseasonably warm November calls for dissected outerwear: leggings and removable layers and vests, vests, and more vests. Wool, down or faux fur the always-recurring vest is the best way to spice up your outfit and stay warm (or cool) right now. Dress up more casual sweater vests with a gold skinny belt or choose black faux fur for evening. Down versions are a bit more casual, but can be dressed up with emblems and feel less outdoorsy complimenting smart button ups for a more preppy look or loose sheer and leggings for a bit more rock ‘n roll. Vests always come back, so if you find one you love then go ahead and make the splurge. On a holiday budget? (Um, so are we.) You can find affordable options at Urban Outfitters, Top Shop and the soon-to-be ubiquitous pre and post holiday sales. No matter your style or budget, this season provides a multitude of ways to stay in-vested.Emma Dinzebach Posted by Emma Dinzebach at 12:00 AM APPAREL , Bargain News , Expert Advice , What women over 40 want , What women in their 30s want , What women in their 20's want | Trackback | Print This Post Leave a Reply

With a week left in January, we still have at least a couple months of weather fluctuations, and mixing in some color will fight the winter doldrums. […]
