A Dog Walks Into A Bar...

For New Yorkers, bringing your dog with you for day-to-day activities has become quite the norm. Whether it’s out to lunch at an ultra chic corner café, a stroll around central park, or a long day of shopping down Fifth Avenue your four-legged friend is with you every step of the way.

Why stop there? We have recently noticed a trend of dog-centric bars that are now very open to the pooch population, allowing man’s best friend to tag along as you pull up a seat for a drink. As long as your dog is on his/her best behavior, there are several places that are incredibly accommodating.

Although they don’t allow dogs during the week, The Ginger Man on E 36th Street is extremely pet friendly on Saturday and Sunday welcoming all well-behaved dogs. www.gingerman-ny.com

With their resident “house dog”, an incredibly friendly pit bull, Von Bar on Bleeker will pour you a glass of one of their finest wines and will pair it with a delicious Milkbone for your pampered pooch. www.vonbar.com

For all you Upper East Siders, Fetch is the perfect outdoor spot to grab a few drinks with your closest fashionistas (including the four legged ones) while listening to great live music and perhaps find a new best friend. (They have pet adoption applications on hand!) www.fetchbarandgrill.com

Although there is no legal drinking age for dogs, you probably shouldn’t let your pup partake in the drinking festivities. These dog-friendly pubs are a great way to include your canine in all of your nightlife activities.

With the help of Doug, who graciously showed Cecile around, Cecile was able to discover all the amazing bargains Gant had to offer ! Il ne se passe pas un jour à New York sans qu’une vente exceptionnelle se déroule ! Je me suis précipitée hier à la vente de la prestigieuse marque Suédoise Gant. Celle-ci se déroule au 20 West 55th St 11th Fl. et fait partie des ventes les plus intéressantes auxquelles j’ai pu me rendre! ! ! !

C’est super tant sur le plan de la sélection que des prix pratiqués : En effet, la sélection des articles présentés est particulièrement réussie. Les grands classiques sont en vente à des prix très intéressants. A noter que les prix se situent entre $15 pour un T shirt et $95 pour un manteau. De plus, les chemises, les polos, mais également les pulls sont affichés au prix de $45. Chanel, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana Sample Sale (French)

Il ne se passe pas un jour à New York sans qu’une vente exceptionnelle se déroule ! J’ai eu la chance de me rendre hier en exclusivité à la vente de la célèbre maison Chanel, symbole de l’élégance et du raffinement … Dans ce temple de la tentation qu’est devenu pour l’occasion le penthouse du prestigieux Regency hôtel, étaient représentées aux côtés de Chanel, des marques comme Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci et Valentino. Même si les prix restaient relativement élevés, la sélection des articles proposés était particulièrement réussie. Chez Chanel, les grands classiques étaient en vente à des prix très intéressants selon les articles. A noter que vous pouviez vous procurer l’emblématique sac Chanel à rabat matelassé au prix exceptionnel de $ 1300 au lieu de $ 2000. Côté chaussures, vous pouviez trouver aussi bien des Chanel, des Prada, des Valentino que des Jimmy Choo. En revanche, le choix était plutôt limité : j’ai relevé uniquement 9 modèles dans une seule pointure.

Les robes du soir n’étaient pas en reste avec des modèles de rêve de chez Gucci, Valentino et Dolce et Gabbana dont les prix se situaient entre $ 975 et $ 2000. L’emblématique sac Chanel à rabat matelassé Chanel était vendu au prix de $ 1300 au lieu de $ 2000.
